![]() Flight planning is easy on our large collection of Aeronautical Charts. But I’m also questioning on the MSFS Engine to properly match the parking code as well even if they do have a matching one.Įven if the Parking code matching is working on the MSFS sim engine, I do find it a little bit half-working since it doesn’t work on the Ground Aircraft as I mentioned above. SkyVector is a free online flight planner. ![]() But of course, it could also be caused by the airport not having a proper parking codes themselves. Weather data is always current, as are Jet Fuel Prices and avgas 100ll prices. Flight planning is easy on our large collection of Aeronautical Charts, including Sectional Charts, Approach Plates, IFR Enroute Charts, and Helicopter route charts. But from my experience, I always find them to park at random spots as well. SkyVector is a free online flight planner. Discover Freeware Microsoft Flight Simulator mods and add-ons - Explore a wide range of new Aircraft, Liveries, Airports, Tweaks, and more for MSFS2020 at no cost. I never really use Offline traffic myself, since I always use Live Traffic. They can spawn at a gate, or they can spawn mid-air already in their flight depending on the flight. ![]() Offline/Live AI Traffic: These are the “moving” traffic that MSFS spawns either from the Offline AI Traffic Flight plans, or download directly from the Live AI Traffic data. It is with these types of ground aircrafts that I don’t think the ICAO Parking Code matching is currently working based on the MSFS sim engine. But if there’s a Offline/Live AI Traffic spawning, the Ground Aircraft usually disappears and replaced by that traffic. These Ground Aircrafts also doesn’t move. They can pick from any livery in your pool of liveries and spawn them randomly depending on the parking types. But these ground aircrafts are currently random. The number of population of these ground aircrafts can be adjusted in the Traffic Options under Ground Aircrafts slider. Ground Aircraft: Are separate aircraft objects that’s randomly spawned by MSFS sim engines with the sole purpose of populating the parking gates. CYOW Ottawa MacdonaldCartier International Airport is available now. Such services can be available for some aircrafts but. Roman Design is proud to offer custom Canadian Airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Actual services are usually vehicles that can interact with the aircraft, such as pushbacks, baggage services, fuel trucks, etc. They don’t move, they don’t go anywhere, they’re permanent and will never disappear. Airport Services describes service vehicles creation and behavior, as well as some other parameters for airport life, and Idle Workers generation and behaviors. Depending on the developers, sometimes they put certain aircraft models with liveries but they’re treated as a static object that’s a part of the airports themselves. Even on the world map, you’ll see spots and gaps of selectable gates that’s suppose to be there but they’re not usable. These types of static aircraft objects generally disable the parking spots from being usable by anyone. Static Aircraft: Are stationary objects that are usually placed by scenery developers directly into the airport gates. I know this is quite confusing, as even if you right click on such a folder it still tells you "C:\." with a size of over 100GB.I think we need all to understand the correct terminology here. Roy, again, when you installed the MSFS and pointed it to your F drive, only Links are installed on your c drive. Microsoft Flight Simulator ships at 60 in the U.S. I know that this is not yours to solve, but any knowledge you can share on this would be appreciated. Do you know if this is common or is it possible on a reinstall to get everything on F? It is possible I did not pay attention when the Content Manager installed the 100 gb of files. The installation is on F but Content Manager and Community files appear to be on both drives. Then looking at both C and F, it appears that the files are on both C and F. Navigraph subscribers always have access to the latest AIRAC cycles on SimBrief, please visit the Account Settings page for more details. Based on what you said, I installed the airport and it worked fine. SimBrief is provided by Navigraph, the flight simulation community's trusted source for updated charts and navigational data (such as airports, waypoints, and airways). I have little space left on C, but F is a new, unused 1 tb SSD which I planned to use for Flight Simulator. When the installation of the Paderborn airport came up, this forced me to look at the location given in the installer and indeed the Content Manager (called Official for a Microsoft Store installation) was on C in spite of what I thought my instructions were to put Flight Simulator on F. My concern about the installation in the first place was that I had installed on F. It forced me to look around a bit and then I decided to install.
